THE ZOO

Finally after many failed attempts (due to weather) of trying to take Zac to the Zoo I was successful. We went to the zoo with my sister Tina and her kids, my mom, and my friend Danica and her girls. It was so much fun to watch Zac take everything in.
Of course we had to see if we all weighed as much as an Elephant. Not even close.

We got to see the new baby Elephant. Zac thought the elephants were pretty cool.

I think the giraffes were his favorite though. They were definately the most active animals while we were there.

We took the kids on the carousel. I wasn't sure how Zac would do. I should have known he would love it. This kid is totally fearless. He was smiling and laughing through the entire ride. I stood by him but he held on all by himself. He is getting independent way too fast.
Zac is as tall as an infant Gorilla.
He also loved the train. He didn't want me to hold him he was determined to sit all by himself. He can be so stubborn at times. Guess he has a little of his mama in him. We will definately be going back to the zoo. Hopefully with Daddy next time.

MEMORIAL DAY

On Memorial Day we wanted to do something fun so we headed up to the B and went 4 wheeling with Marks family. It was such a beautiful day to be in the mountains
Zac Loved every minute of our adventure. He loves riding in the Bronco.

Zac invading Grandpa and Grandma's jeep. Doesn't he look innocent.

Once we reached the top we enjoyed lunch in the beautiful scenery. It was a great day enjoying nature and family.
Afterwards we went to my parents house for BBQ and played games. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures. I am so grateful that we live so close to both of our families and are able to spend time with them.

PLAYING AT THE PARK

Now that the weather is finally getting warmer we have been able to venture outside most days. Zac and I have been going to the park a lot lately since there is so much for him to discover there. He found a stick and was digging in the rocks and piling them onto the curb for about 45 minutes one day. It was so cute to see how entertained he was by this.

Zac and Logan "flying" these 2 boys are going to be great friends.
Checking out the slide. A little girl at the park showed the boys that if you dropped the rocks on the slide they made a cool sound. As you can tell Zac was totally into it.

GIRLS NIGHT

A few weekends ago my mom, sister, niece, and I had a girls night out. We went to dinner and then headed into Salt Lake to see my brothers Young Ambassador performance at the Conference Center.
Brad and Kate - they did great as always.
Us girls (Tina, Shyann, Me, & Mom)
Dinner at Rumbi - it was delicious
It was fun to get to spend some quality time with just the girls. We definately need to do it more often.
