JEEPING IN ST. GEORGE

This past weekend we went down to St. George to do some jeeping with Mark's family. The weather was absolutely perfect. It made us so excited for Spring and Summer to come. Mark worked really hard the last 2 months to get the Bronco ready for this trip. Playing at the Sand Dunes by Sand Hollow.
Zac playing in the sand for the first time. He loved picking it up and letting it run thru his hands. He even had to taste it. Why is it that babies always put everything in their mouths?

Zac and Bronco exhausted after a day of 4wheeling.
Of course after a day of 4 wheeling we had to hit the pool for some relaxation time. Loved the fact that we were at the pool at 6 at night. Summer can't come soon enough. Thanks to Mark's family for a wonderful trip full of great memories.

EASTER

Easter was so much fun this year. It was Zac's second Easter but his first one where he actually started to get into it.Zac checking out his Easter basket from the Easter Bunny
1st Easter Egg hunt and Grandma Robins house. He loved wasn't too sure why we were running around the yard after eggs.
He loved playing with the eggs after the hunt was over. Who knew they had Easter eggs as big as Zac. It was great getting to spend the holiday with my family.

BIRTHDAY CAKE

The eating of Zac's 1st birthday cake deserved a post of its very own. Most kids when they get their cake dig right in with both hands and make a complete mess. Not our kid. Our little angel wasn't quite sure what he was supposed to do with the cake. He kept patting it and then looking at the little bit of frosting on his fingers.
After a few minutes we decided to cut the cake open for him. Once he could see the cake under the frosting Zac started to pick at it a little.
Then Uncle Scott jumped in to show Zac how it was done.
He caught on after that. Leave it to Zac to do the exact opposite of what you're expecting him to do when people are watching.
"I have no idea who ate the cake mama?"

ZAC'S 1ST BIRTHDAY PARTY

Happy Birthday to me!
This week we celebrated Zac's 1st birthday a few days earlier so all of his grandparents could be there. I still can't believe in just a few days my baby turns 1. It's always fun to get together with family and friends but it is especially great when Mark and I can be with both of our families at the same time.
Zac is very much loved in our family and was spoiled rotten. His toys have now taken over our house.

I was really surprised that Zac was into opening the gifts this year. Mark or I would have to start tearing the paper but then he would help to rip it open. He loved that toys were inside the packages.

A huge thanks to my mom and dad for letting us have the party at their house. It was nice to have the space to fit everyone in the same room.
After the party Zac came home a played with daddy and his new toys. Thank you to everyone that came. Its great to have so many people that love us and Zac.
